For more than a week I've been on tour with the science ship.




The German federal ministry for education and research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) organizes activities to encourage research and demonstrate its relevance for everyday life.

Each year has a different main theme like "Language" or "Mathematics". 2009 is the year of astronomy, but our ship exposition presents a broader theme: the future ship.



Wasserstraßenkreuz ~ water crossing
We're on a canal, crossing a river. The Mittellandkanal brings us over the Elbe river, in a kind of bath tub. Crazy engineers!







Hundertwasser-Haus
Friedensreich Hundertwasser is an artist of the 21st century. In Magdeburg, we explored his last piece of architecture. "Die gerade Linie ist gottlos."
